Heat-sealable medium barrier film
- Can be used for production, transportation, storage and sale of various pasty foods and non-food products, such as ( food fats, butter, processed cheeses, cooked sausages, ice-ream, sour cream, forcemeat and chemical products such as glues, construction emulsions, silicones etc.)
- vertical forming and clipping systems;
- horizontal heat-sealing automatic machines provided with clippers.
Composition:
These films are made of polyamide, polyolefin and adhesive (modified polyethylene) permitted for use in the food industry.
Advantages:
- Biaxial orientation of the film in combination with its mechanical strength allows to make portioned products with a fixed weight at a high rate of forming, and provides for stability of the chub weight and size.
- Heat-shrink properties provide for an excellent selling appearance of the finished products (no wrinkles) throughout the shelf life.
- Excellent heat sealability provides for high-quality and strong seals.
- Absence of chlorine-containing substances in the composition.
- Variety of the film colors.
- Low specific weight of the film (kg/m2) ensures a perfect product to packaging weight ratio.
- Physiological safety ensured by the fact that the component materials are proof to the action of bacteria and mold fungi. This facilitates storage of the film and improves the hygienic characteristics of both the film itself, and of the sausage production environment.
- Low OTR and WVTR ensured by meticulous selection of the combination of polymers, which offers the following advantages of the films:
- zero losses during the thermal processing and storage of food products;
- microbiological stability of the products during storage;
- retardation of the oxidation processes that cause rancidification of the fats contained in the food products.
Assortment:
Film width: 80 – 400 mm
Film thickness: 50, 60, 70 μm
Colors: transparent, white, orange, brown, cream, yellow.
Printing: these films are suitable for single-side multi-color or CMYK printing with the use of inks based on volatile solvents. Printing is applied by the flexographic method. The inks are resistant to boiling, fats and mechanical impacts.
